To close the gaps, laughing all the way!

For though coverage gaps may give us a fright,

Armed with information, we'll be alright!

3 Inalienable Facts About Medicare

Medicare is a great federal health coverage program, but it comes with truths every enrollee must understand.

1

Mind the Coverage Gaps

Original Medicare does not cover everything. Prescription drugs, routine dental, vision, hearing aids, and many other services are not included in your standard benefits.

2

Mind the Cost Gaps

Original Medicare is not free, and does not pay for everything it covers. You will still be responsible for premiums, deductibles, coinsurance, and copays.

3

Close the Gaps

The right plan for you depends on your health needs, finances, and how you want to access care. There is no one-size-fits-all answer.

Which Option Is Right For You?

Ask yourself the following three key questions. Your answers will guide you toward the Medicare coverage combination that fits your life. These are real choices with real trade-offs - take your time.

Important Reminder

You cannot combine Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement plans. You may not be able to easily switch later, so choosing wisely from the start matters greatly.

Choosing the wrong option may result in you paying more than you need, less coverage than you need, or worse - paying and still not getting the care you need.
